Nigerian Students Win Multiple Medals at 2026 TeenEagle Global Finals in UK

Nigerian students have distinguished themselves at the 2026 TeenEagle Global Finals in the United Kingdom, winning multiple medals and earning international recognition for their excellence in English language, public speaking and critical thinking.

Among the top performers was Chioma Ezedimbu, who clinched a Silver Medal in Productive Skills and a Bronze Medal in Receptive Skills, showcasing exceptional abilities in writing, persuasive speaking, spelling and knowledge-based competitions.

Other outstanding Nigerian participants included Amarachi Mitchell Orji, who won a Gold Medal in Productive Skills and a Bronze Medal in Receptive Skills, while Ugwu Kassandra Chimziterem emerged with Gold Medals in both Productive and Receptive Skills.

The TeenEagle Global Finals, held at the University of Surrey in the United Kingdom from June 21 to 28, 2026, brought together students from across the world to compete in English language proficiency, public speaking, critical thinking and other academic challenges, while fostering cultural exchange and international collaboration.

The impressive performance of the Nigerian delegation underscores the country’s growing reputation for academic excellence on the global stage. Education stakeholders say the students’ achievements reflect hard work, resilience and effective communication skills, while inspiring more young Nigerians to participate in international academic competitions.

Parents, teachers and supporters have also praised the students’ success, describing it as another milestone for Nigeria’s emerging global academic talent.
