The Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd), CON, OFR, on Tuesday joined the Executive Governor of Jigawa State, Mallam Umar A. Namadi, FCA, for the signing of Executive Orders to strengthen the state’s campaign against drug abuse.

The event, held at the Government House in Dutse, also featured the inauguration of the Task Force on Drug Abuse and Societal Orientation and the unveiling of the campaign theme, “Jigawa United Against Drug Abuse.”During his visit, Marwa paid a courtesy call on the Emir of Dutse, His Royal Highness Alhaji Hamim Nuhu Muhammad Sanusi, CON, and inspected the ongoing NDLEA Barracks project in Jigawa State, reaffirming the Agency’s commitment to strengthening drug control efforts and institutional capacity across the country.
