In another major operation, NDLEA operatives acting on credible intelligence have raided a warehouse hidden within a residential compound in the Ago Palace area of Okota, Lagos.
The operation, carried out between Friday, August 7 and Saturday, August 8, 2026, led to the recovery of a staggering 377,600 bottles of codeine-based syrup.
The controlled substance was packed in 3,776 cartons and is valued at over ₦2.6 billion.
The seizure highlights the scale of illicit pharmaceutical drug trafficking and the continued efforts by NDLEA to disrupt the supply chain of controlled substances.
