What looked like an ordinary gallon of palm oil turned out to contain something unexpected!
NDLEA operatives at the Kano airport have intercepted 511.75 grams of cannabis concealed in a gallon of palm oil carried by a female passenger, Fatimah Ahmad, travelling to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, via Addis Ababa on Ethiopian Airlines.
During questioning, Fatimah reportedly told operatives that her cousin, Abubakar Yahaya, gave her the gallon. He was subsequently arrested at the airport car park.
