A fireproof safe has been cracked open by NDLEA operatives in a raid on a notorious drug den in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency raided the Abuja Down/Up area on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, recovering a fireproof iron safe among other items.
The safe was later opened with a welding machine, revealing three different illicit drugs.
Inside, NDLEA operatives found 237 grams of Colorado, 316 grams of cocaine and 10 grams of heroin.
The recovery forms part of the agency’s ongoing operations targeting drug trafficking and illicit drug activities in Rivers State.
