The Nigerian Air Force has stepped up intelligence-led air operations against terrorists and bandits, as the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, orders zero complacency among personnel.
Air Marshal Aneke gave the directive during a strategic visit to Bauchi State, where he addressed officers and airmen at the Special Operations Command.
He stressed that all missions must be precise, intelligence-driven, and focused on delivering clear results in tackling security threats.
According to a statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information Headquarters Nigerian Air Force , Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, the Air Chief commended troops for their resilience and recent operational successes, noting that their efforts have improved response to emerging security challenges.
During the visit, he inspected operational equipment and facilities to assess readiness and ensure all assets remain in top condition for ongoing missions.
Air Marshal Aneke also paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Bauchi, who praised the Air Force for its role in protecting communities and strengthening public confidence.
The Air Chief further revealed plans to boost operational capacity through the acquisition of modern equipment and enhanced training for personnel.
He assured officers and airmen of improved welfare, including better housing and infrastructure, while maintaining that discipline, professionalism, and accountability remain key to achieving lasting security.
The Nigerian Air Force says it remains committed to working with other security agencies to safeguard lives and property across the country.
