Music speakers have been used to conceal more than sound, as NDLEA operatives uncover a suspected Colorado shipment hidden inside one at a motor park in Maza Maza, Lagos.
Operatives of the Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) intercepted the speaker, which was allegedly rigged with three packs of Colorado and destined for Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, before onward movement to Liberia.
A 41-year-old tour agent, Ifeanyi Obed Augustine, and the 46-year-old owner of the consignment, Obasi Ugochuckwu, were arrested during a swift sting operation at a nearby eatery.
